In E-Learning seminar first presentation is talking about description of the project idea, main aim and objectives of the Trans2Work project.
The main idea of the second presentation is the innovative character of the project – What are the main innovating elements of the project idea? and Activities planned by project – results and outputs.
The third presentation presents the results of the survey that has taken place during the first period – Transition planning for Higher Education (HE) students with disabilities: the opinions of employers in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
The forth presentation present the results of the survey that has taken place during the first period Transition planning for Higher Education (HE) students with disabilities: the opinions of students and employees with disabilities in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
The fifth presentation answers the question “Where is our position compared to other countries in the EU from the transition standpoint of SwD?”
Round table discussion held at Belgrade Metropolitan University in Belgrade
At Belgrade Metropolitan University in Belgrade the round table was held. The main topic was:”Employment of young people with disabilities in the transition from higher education to the labor market”. Professor Dr Katarina Kaplarski, the Dean of the Faculty of Digital Arts at Belgrade Metropolitan, pointed out that the project Trans2Work implements equal opportunities in higher education. The most important point, and what the project aims at as well, is to connect employers and students with disabilities, both physically and mentally.
The biggest benefit would be that young people with disabilities get employment after completing higher education under equal conditions for all. There was also a discussion about the web portal that will soon function similar to Jobs – Infostud site, where the database of students who have a disability will be located, and where they will have the opportunity to present themselves, their capabilities and their skills in the best light. In addition to the presentations, and there was a discussion about a number of topics that were raised related to persons with disabilities in our country.
Dissemination of the Trans2Work Project organised by AYDM – Presentation on the fairs
AYDM participated on the PWD’s employment fair, organized by Employment Agency of Montenegro. The goal of the fair was to inform public about possibilities and opportunities employers and employees with disabilities can have in the process.
AYDM had the stand on the International book and education fair in Podgorica 2nd-9th May 2017. One of the goals of the fair was to inform public about educational opportunities in Montenegro. There were about 300 visitors on both events.
Round table, organized by University of Sarajevo
Round table, organized by University of Sarajevo and Profil Management Consulting d.o.o, was held on Wednesday, 07.12.2016. The activity was hosted by University of Sarajevo. Dissemination activity goals were: presentation of the project to the academic staff, students, employers, representatives of NGOs and the media; exchange of experiences and opinions about the need and possibilities of linking higher education and the labor market; connecting higher education institutions with a working environment that is adjusted to people with disabilities; sensitization of employers to understand the needs of people with disabilities in order to create and offer appropriate jobs.
Informing about Special Mobility Strand – UES and UBL
UES and UBL had three activities for informing people about Special Mobility Stand.
The first was TV appearance at RTRS studio in East Sarajevo. This dissemination activity included TV appearance of prof. dr Biljana Sladoje Bošnjak, coordination of Trans2Work project at the University of East Sarajevo, together with her colleague from the partner University of Banja Luka – prof. dr Draženko Jorgić and Vera Bošković, activist in the nongovernmental organizations. TV show named “U fokusu ” (In Focus) was held on the 1st March, 2017 at the leading national television of Republic of Srpska (RTRS) at the prime time on this television.
The second was Info day about Special Mobility Strand at Faculty of Philosophy, UES. The info-day was attended by around 20 participants: SwD, students, and academic staff. It was organized at the Faculty of Philosophy, on Thursday 9 March, 2017 in one of the faculty classrooms.
The third was special Mobility Strand – debate at Faculty of Philosophy, UES. The debate was attended by around 10 participants: SwDs, students, and academic staff. It was organized at the Faculty of Philosophy, on Thursday 8 June, 2017 in one of the faculty classrooms.
