The theme of the show was (Un)equal Chances – the status of students with disabilities.
They talked about the status of students with disabilities these days. The issues addressed were: whether or not persons with disabilities face limited access and success within their secondary and higher education, and if that later results with limited opportunities for their employment. The general theme of the show was: Do these persons have an adequate support?
Attached here are some photos from that TV show, together with the website link of RTRS where this show can be seen.
Info day about Special Mobility Strand at Faculty of Philosophy, UES
The info-day was attended by around 20 participants: SwD, students, and academic staff. It was organized at the Faculty of Philosophy, on Thursday 9 March, 2017 in one of the faculty classrooms.
The aim of this dissemination activity was to inform the academic staff, SwDs and students about the general information regarding the programme of student and staff mobility within the Erasmus + programme – Special Mobility Strand. These information included details about the higher education institutions with which University of East Sarajevo needs to sign the inter-institutional agreements (with UNS, UNIKG, BMU, and 1 HEI in Podgorica), and to which countries students can ultimately travel. In addition, the audience was informed about the mobility strand issues such as: mobility numbers per academic year, recommend language skills, calendar, insurance, financial issues and the respect of fundamental principles and other mobility requirements. All of these issues will be covered by the inter-institutional agreement.
After all this was presented to the participants, teachers opened the discussion for the present students with possible question for further clarification. After the discussion, SwDs who were interested to take part in students mobility were selected. Since altogether 6 students were interested and only 4 students can go, the list with their names was forwarded to the University’s office for international relations for them to form some criteria for their selection.
