Dissemination of the Trans2Work Project at Hotel “Radisson Blu old mill”, Belgrade

On Saturday, 26.11.2016. the presentation was attended by Students, students with disabilities, representatives of Youth and other NGOs, wider public and media. It was organized by Association of studetns with Disabilities, on Saturday 26th of November, 2016 under the manifestation “Serbian Vision” at Hotel “Radisson Blu old mill”.

The presentation was opened by the Executive director of ASD Milan Janković, who welcomed all the participants and shortly presentet history and current activities of Association of students with disabilities.

Ivana Antonijević and MarinaLukić presented project “Trans2Work” and  gave a short summary of the project, and then spoke about the goals of the project and the dissemination and exploitation of project outcomes and results that are considered to be a very important activities for its successful implementation. Lukic presented results of the previous research within the project (WP1).

Antonijević informed the participants about the activities of which were discussed at the last meeting held in Maribor; about the role and importance of mentors in hiring students with disabilities. Lukić announced open platforms for connection with labor market and mentor support, and opportunities for SwD exchange which will be provided trough the project.

On Sunday, 27.11.2016. the workshop was attended by around 10 participants: SwD, students, It was organized by Association of studetns with Disabilities, on Sunday 27th of November, 2016 under the manifestation “Serbian Vision” at Hotel “Radisson Blu old mill”.

The workshop was opened by the Executive director of ASD Milan Janković, who welcomed all the participants and thanked them for their supportive involvement in this project dissemination activities.

Trainer of workshop Marina Lukić gave a short summary of the project, and then spoke about the goals of the project and the dissemination and exploitation of project outcomes and results that are considered to be a very important activities for its successful implementation. After that participants has started with 1st workshop „CV in 21st century“. At the begining Lukic started discusion about the view on career nowdays and earlier. Separeted in two groups participants had task to make a list with important things which should put in their CV. After the presentation of their posters, followed discussion about the way to improve their competences thrue non-formal education, how to find good and accessible internships and jobs. According to this, Lukic announced starting platform from „Trans2Work“ and explained what kind of the content will be create, with special emphasis on support and role of the Mentor.

The second workshop called „Students mobility“ reffers to opportunity create trough the project for student with disabilities to spent part of their studies at another University. The participants worked in two.groups: One had task to  make a list of advantages for doing „mobility“ , and another one had task to make a list of possible barriers for not doing „mobility“. After presentation trainer make points off all activities done today, and ask for shortly evaluation.
